Travel is easier when everything you carry has a purpose. This is a carefully edited collection of bags, clothing, technology, organization tools and everyday problem solvers I use or would confidently recommend because of friends who live by them.
This is not an endless list of “must-haves.”
I add something only when it solves a genuine problem, makes travel easier or justifies the space it occupies.

This is my larger power bank that I will carry with me during the day in my crossbody. I have this one so I know I can fully recharge my phone a couple times. I also love that it has all the cables attached to it so that I never have to worry about carrying another item and if someone else needs to use it, you can be a good traveler and let them too.

I love a good organized piece of luggage and this cord organizer helps me ensure that I have all my cables and I don't leave one, as I have in the past before using this. I have found that my stress and frustration with my technology is less now that I keep these better organized.

Yes, you can use plastic grocery bags if you still have these in your community. I enjoy having these for shoes so they keep ground dirt off everything else. These are also nice because they are flexible and allow for you to use them for more than one use.

Organization just like planning makes me happy in my luggage. I love using cubes to organize a majority of my clothes. I do not keep a specific plan for how I do this, but I do leave space for more.. It is also practical to get a set that has the shoe bag or to buy these separate.

PACK WITH PURPOSE
You do not need more travel gear, you just need the right travel gear.
You need fewer things but you need ones that work better. I’ll continue adding products only when they solve a real problem, make travel easier or consistently justify the room they take.

Before I recommend, I ask:
Does it solve a real problem or a need?
Would I make room for it or be annoyed I have it when I need more space later?
Is there a simpler alternative?
Is it going to withstand the rigors of travel with time?
